Bob Scotney Chairman of HTFC said:
“The association with Warriors will bring a new chapter in the history of Hucknall Town Football Club. It will create a structured future for football in the Hucknall area, combining all age groups. These are exciting times ahead with the construction of the new stadium underway. This will provide a great opportunity for the football club to better serve the community that supports it and it’s something that befits what is a milestone for Hucknall Town, being its 75th Anniversary year”.

Paul Burley, founder and Chairman of HWFC said:
“After 12 years of creating a well-structured and well respected operation, the association with Hucknall Town is a natural and wonderful progression for the club. The possibilities of a combined entity are there for all to see and we will be working together closely to explore ways to further increase the identity of local football in the area, increase the involvement of the local community and create something special over time. Hopefully the ultimate beneficiaries of this association will be the community of Hucknall and surrounding areas”.

Andy Graves First Team Manager HTFC said:
“After the much documented troubles of the past, Hucknall Town FC is in a very much stronger and stable position both on and off the field. The attendances at home games have steadily risen to the best in Central Midlands and better than many at two and three levels above – we are grateful for the support that the Hucknall community has given to the club and with exciting times ahead with the development of a stunning new stadium it gives the club the opportunity to further its involvement within youth football with the exciting link up with Hucknall Warriors FC. After months of positive discussions between Warriors and Hucknall Town we feel the time is right to forge a strong relationship that will encourage even more awareness for both clubs in the community and offer local young players a pathway into the first team from youth football in a very professionally and structured environment. Hucknall Warriors have proven over many years to be a successful and well run football club and that fits well with the ethos that has been generated over the last four seasons at Hucknall Town”.
