When I first thought of creating a team for our age group I decided to do it for a few reasons.

1. Only 1 other Hucknall team in our age played on Sundays, I wanted to create a team of  players to play and enjoy the game.

2. To introduce LOCAL players to the game.

3. Help those players progress and mature in to as good a player as they can.

Thanks to the support of Hucknall Warriors we have the backing of a charter standard club to play under.

Every player we have signed lives within the NG15 postcode, this is a great achievement.

Already we have seen a massive progression in the players, majority of which had not played 11-a-side football in a competative enviroment. This is just the start, it will be a long season but one I think will be enjoyable yet challenging. We have 26 league games to complete, we will want to progress as far as we can in the cups. I have complete faith in the players to put 100% effort in when they walk out on a Sunday but also at training.

I cannot do this alone but…..

Together we can make it happen.
