SUPERB BOYS !

Well done boys after a terrific performance. The only reason we got beat today is that Keyworth eventually got to grips with passing the ball and beating the offside trap and as we grew more and more tired we just lost our concentration a little.

But we cant ask for any more from you guys, if you continue to listen to us and concentrate you will get your rewards against some teams in this league……but dont forget it wont just happen, you have to keep putting the effort in to get those results. See you wednesday night boys.

Managers Views 11/09/2011

Although we were on the end of a heavy defeat today we know that there are some teams which are far and away better than us but we still turn up and put in the effort and use these games to learn things from.

The important thing for us is that we compete against the teams that we know we can compete against and do ourselves justice against them.

Heads up boys…..another very tough game next weekend against Keyworth but lets not get downhearted…….just remember the promise of a Mcdonalds if we win…!!!!

In my four years i’ve been involved with the club i have never been through such an emotional roller coaster than today.

You couldn’t write a script like it as after 18 months of trying we finally achieved something alot of people doubted we could do……win a football match !

After what i personally have been through the past 18 months running the team its days like this which make it all worthwhile.

You guys were superb today and it made such a difference to see you guys with a lead to hang onto and to show the self belief, fight and determination that we knew you had but sometimes struggled to take with you onto the pitch on a sunday morning.

Enjoy it boys………but your still running on weds night !!!
