Hucknall Warriors New Sponsors

Hucknall Warriors Under 16 Red got the first week of the season off to a great start with 2 home wins out of two and to kick off the new season Warriors were presented with new home kits by sponsors Nixon Lettings.

Paul Burley, Club Chairman and joint Manager of the team, said “The support of youth football teams by local businesses is vital for their very existence, we are very grateful to Paul Nixon of Nixon Lettings for his sponsorship this year as we are to all other businesses that contribute to the five teams we have in the club. We hope the season continues the way its started with two great wins over quality teams. The lads have faced stiff competition in the pre season friendlies as well as facing some grueling fitness training, both of which are paying dividends in the quality of performances so far”. Mr Nixon said “We are very proud to be both the home and away sponsors of Warriors U16 Reds this year and to be partnering with such a great local football club – we wish them all the success in the league this season”.

Club constitution updated

Dear all,

The clubs constitution has been updated and is now located under club documents. We draw your attention to sections 6, 7 and 14 specifically.

As a reminder the membership fees for the new season increase to £6 per week from September 3rd 2011 to April 29th 2012 with a 2 week break at Christmas. Fees for players playing in 2 Warriors teams increases to £10/week.

Finally we have had to introduce an amendment to deal with late payment of membership fees as issued in our letter to you dated 28th July 2011 (which you should have received via your team manager) your cooperation with this is greatly appreciated in helping the club fulfill its financial obligations.

Regards and have a great season,

Paul Burley
Chairman, Hucknall Warriors FC
